Please note there is a change near end of stage 3. This adds 0.3 miles to the distance of the stage. A Map of the whole course has been produced by of Ian Hodge of Serpentine Running Club: Map. Risk Assessment The whole course Risk Assessment has been updated for 2008 and you can download this by following the link. This is a big file and may take a few seconds to download. It must be read in conjunction with the Hazard Codes Where to Stay over the Weekend To really get the full enjoyment from GBR, I recommend that all your team, stick together over the whole weekend. Organise a place to stay, a meal for the Saturday night and support each other all the time. You'll take back memories which will stay with you for a long time, you'll make new friends and you will feel part of something really special. Frequently Asked Questions Some questions have been asked many times. I have listed a few below, and hope the answers help you with your organisation. What Happens if More than 11 Run for a Team? Nothing happens. They do not get disqualified, the team gets listed where the finish, but do not qualify for team prizes How Difficult Are The Stages? To answer this questions I have rated them from 1 - 10 by degree of difficulty. If you wish to know just go to Stage Details Section. What Time does GBR goes through different areas? Click on the Headline above to get the approximate time the first runner goes through each place. The Route For a description of the route (to be updated for 2008), with points of interest we pass, follow the link through the "race" section of this site to "route". We have had many queries about this. You may even have to "refresh" more than once to catch the new information. Marshal Points You can download the list of marshal points HERE. UPDATED 09 May 2008. This is an excel file. Some have been allocated to each club. It is vital that all these points are to be covered if we are to get all the runners around safely. We ask that at all these point (apart from those just after the start) water is supplied to runners.
